On the evening of April 22, 2025, the Effet FP committee unveiled the skilled talents who will make up the Eastern Townships delegation. These individuals will represent the region at the 17th edition of the Quebec Trades and Technology Olympiad, which will take place from May 7 to 10, 2025, at the Centre de foires in Quebec City.
This announcement was an opportunity to meet the students who won their local and regional competitions in specialized trades, as well as the teaching staff who are training these rising stars. This high-level provincial competition, organized by Compétences Québec and dedicated partners, brings together the very best talents from across Quebec. Winners will advance to the Skills Canada National Competition in Regina, and potentially to the WorldSkills 2026 competition in Shanghai, for those who truly excel.
